Women’s Worker – Greenwich

Full-time or part-time, starting in September 2025

Grace Church Greenwich is a thriving Anglican evangelical church, planted in 2015 from St Peter’s Barge and St Helen’s Bishopsgate, and now meeting on Sundays and midweek in three locations, Canada Water, Greenwich and Eltham. The Lord has been adding to our number, and over the last three years we have doubled in size to over 300 people gathering on Sundays across our congregations, and our vision is to be a church that welcomes sceptics, enquirers and believers. We seek to train and equip our members for Gospel ministry, in the local community and further afield. We currently have a staff team of nine (some of whom are part-time) and two Ministry Trainees.

We are seeking another Women’s Worker to join us in the above vision. This is an exciting opportunity to serve among the women of our church community in a pastoral role of outreach, discipleship, care and support, wherever is needed for women of all ages. It is our conviction that people are born again through the powerful word of God, and it is this same word – the sword of the Spirit – by which the church grows to maturity. So, we are looking for somebody who is committed to teaching and applying the Bible to their own life and the lives of others, and already has experience serving in a similar role. We are complementarian, meaning that we long to see both men and women flourish in Christian ministry, acknowledging that the roles we are called to in marriage and church life are not symmetrical. The role will primarily seek to serve our congregation in Greenwich.  Please see below for the full job description.

Application deadline:  22nd June 2025

Interviews will take place between 30th June and 2nd July 2025.

Start: 1st September 2025.

The role can be full-time or part-time. Remuneration dependent on experience.

To apply, please send us your CV and a short cover letter to info@greenwich.church, and don’t hesitate to contact us for any questions.

There is a genuine occupational requirement under the provisions of the Equality Act 2010 for this role to be occupied by a woman and an Evangelical Christian believer.
